has been satisfying the car rental needs of a large number of Jamaicans

been operated by E.A. Issa and Brothers as an Independent Licensee of Budget Corporation
and presently is one of the seven companies making up the Issa Transport Group.

GENERAL CONDITIONS IN JAMAICA ::.
Gasoline
A full tank of
gasoline is sold at the point of rental.
Damage to vehicle
Renter is
responsible for all loss or damage to the rented vehicle.
This liability may be reduced to US$1,000.00/US$1,500.00/US$2,000.00
by accepting Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) for a daily charge of US$15/US$20 per day.
Payment
All Major Credit
Cards, Debit Cards, Traveller's Cheques and Manager's Cheques for
locals are accepted. In some cases the credit
card company will undertake to cover the renter for all damages.
Some credit cards have Collision Damage Insurance in Jamaica. Make
sure that you verify with your bank the benefits that are available
to you.
Age Requirement
No person under
21 years and over 65 years of age is permitted to drive the vehicle. A driver under age 25 will attract an age
surcharge of US$7.50 per day.
License
Your drivers
license must be at least two (2) years old and have no endorsement. Your valid home license is accepted for driving.
Drop Fee
A drop fee US$25.00 - US$45.00 is charged when a car is
returned to another city other than the one that the vehicle was
rented from.
Delivery
Free pick up and drop off for corporate
areas.
Government Tax
The Government
requires 16.5% sales tax on all rentals.
Maps
Road maps of Jamaica are provided on
request at a cost of US$3.00.
Equipment Reserved
Budget reserves the
right to substitute comparable equipment when specified unit is not available.
